Data Specialist

Job DescriptionJob Summary:This position is responsible for acquiring and maintaining product information in our database software as well as testing integrity and identifying anomalies and strategies to fix them. This role also takes the lead in the creation of training materials and Netsuite process documentation for the entire materials department including marketing.Responsibilities:Primary person data entry and oversight for Netsuite heavily concentrated on productsImport and export specialist for Netsuite. Creation of import templates for all departments. Process documentation. Inventory auditorAssisting the Materials team as needed in replenishing samples in the libraryPosition requirements:Arrive to work each day on time and prepared to be productive, knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful. Provide exceptional customer service always. Make it a priority to be courteous, friendly, helpful, and prompt to our clients, vendors, guests, and teammates. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail is critical. Proficiency with MS Excel (including filtering, Vlookup and other data management functions). Ability to collect and analyze product data from a variety of sources and collate it into Excel import template. Experience importing CSV files into database systems and troubleshooting errors. Prior experience with Netsuite preferred. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Able to work independently yet ask for guidance when necessary. Ability to change and adapt to a fast-moving business environment…technological changes and product advancements require an open mind and flexibility to be successful. Supervisory Responsibility:This position does not directly supervise any employees.Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment as well as a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The office environment is open and fast paced with frequent canine visitors.
