Warehouse SupervisorSalary: $75,000 DOELocation: Houston, TXReports to: VP of OperationsPosition SummaryThe Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations supporting our client’s distribution of industrial valves, couplings, fittings, and related fluid-handling products. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient order fulfillment, and safe handling of industrial components.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong logistics experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementSupervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activitiesEnsure timely and accurate order fulfillmentMaintain an organized warehouse layout and material flowMonitor inventory accuracy and cycle countsInventory ControlTrack stock levels and coordinate replenishmentInvestigate discrepancies and implement corrective actionsEnsure proper handling of industrial components and materialsStrong knowledge of RF scanner practicesERP systems experience, Epicor preferredTeam LeadershipSupervise the warehouse staff of 30 and schedule daily activitiesTrain employees on safety procedures and equipment useMonitor productivity and performanceSafety & ComplianceEnforce OSHA and company safety standardsMaintain equipment inspections and maintenanceEnsure proper storage of industrial productsContinuous ImprovementIdentify process improvements for efficiency and cost controlSupport the implementation of warehouse systems and proceduresQualifications7 years of warehouse or distribution experienceMS Office suite proficiency5+ years in a supervisory or team lead roleExperience in industrial products, manufacturing, or supply chainERP systems experience, Epicor preferredInventory management system experienceForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Strong organizational and leadership skillsHigh school diploma required2–4-year degree preferredMust demonstrate leadership skillsMust be comfortable working in a dog-friendly environment (must like dogs)Compensation & BenefitsBase salary target: $75,000 DOEHealth benefits and PTOStable long-term employment with an established industrial company
