Director of Nursing (DON) / Nurse Manager – Detox ServicesLocation: Cherry Hill, New JerseyReports To: Executive DirectorPosition: HCRI is recruiting an experienced, dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) / Nurse Manager to lead their newly purchased detox unit. This role oversees clinical operations and ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with excellent critical thinking skills, a passion for behavioral health, and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all nursing operations within the detox programAssess and monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms and medical concernsBe a change agent in a newly acquired detox unit with input on policy and procedures, strong compliance, staff retention, etc.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Kipu EMR systemEducate clients on health, recovery, aftercare resources, and medication changesQualificationsActive, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New JerseyNo history of disciplinary action, sanctions, probation, or diversionExperience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, and mandatory detox servicesDirector role in detox unitKnowledge of withdrawal management, detox protocols, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferredAbility to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and medication reference tools (e.g., Drugs.com)Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skillsCompensation & BenefitsSalary: Starting at $145,000Health, dental, and vision insurance3 weeks paid time off (PTO)401(k) retirement plan
