This role is responsible for coordinating department-wide projects, optimizing tools and workflows, managing merchandising calendars, and ensuring alignment across Merchandising, Planning, Sourcing, IT, and other business partners.The ideal candidate combines strong retail merchandising knowledge with exceptional project management skills and a passion for process improvement. This individual will play a critical role in advancing operational efficiency, supporting organizational change, and driving adoption of new tools, technologies, and AI-driven solutions across the merchandising organization.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesServe as a key business partner to the GMM and DMM teams by leading projects, developing support tools, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.Manage and track merchandising projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.Prepare project updates, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership.Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement and proactively recommend solutions.Develop and maintain the Merchandising Go-to-Market Calendar, ensuring alignment across departments and key business milestones.Manage AMST meetings and maintain meeting charters, agendas, and follow-up actions.Support the merchandising team with operational tools, assortment planning resources, project roadmaps, and reporting solutions.Maintain a strong understanding of merchandising processes, assortment planning, forecasting methodologies, and retail business operations.Lead process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve team effectiveness.Partner with Planning, IT, and external consultants to define business requirements for new reports, tools, and system enhancements.Support report development by defining metrics, functionality, user requirements, and rollout strategies.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new solutions.Identify organizational communication needs related to new processes, systems, and business initiatives.Develop and execute communication and change management plans to support successful adoption across the merchandising team.Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure teams are prepared for evolving business processes and technology implementations.Champion AI and emerging technology initiatives within the merchandising organization.Evaluate opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and advanced analytics to improve merchandising effectiveness and decision-making.Lead implementation efforts and support organizational readiness for new technology solutions. Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
