Senior Process Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to play a critical role in advancing our manufacturing operations through process optimization, automation, and capital project leadership. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to influence both day-to-day operations and future-state capabilities.What You’ll DoProcess Improvement & OptimizationLead process design, scale-up, and continuous improvement initiativesOptimize production for yield, throughput, quality, and cost efficiencyTroubleshoot complex process and equipment challengesEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsCapital ProjectsLead capital projects from concept through commissioningDevelop equipment specifications and support vendor selectionOversee installation, startup, and validation activitiesManage contractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budgetFinancial & Strategic ImpactDevelop capital justifications including ROI and payback analysisManage CAPEX budgets and track project performanceProvide clear reporting and ensure responsible investment decisionsLeadership & CollaborationPartner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and IT teamsMentor junior engineers and technical staffDrive continuous improvement across processes and systemsWhat You BringEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical environmentProven experience leading capital projectsHands-on experience with PLCs, automation, and process control systemsTechnical StrengthsStrong understanding of process control and instrumentationExperience with industrial automation, SCADA, and HMI systemsFamiliarity with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematicsNice to HaveExperience in specialty chemicals, polymers, or batch processingExposure to ERP systems (e.g., D365)Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certificationPE licenseWhy This Role MattersThis is a high-impact position that plays a key role in shaping the future of our operations.
