This role is focused on implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day development activities within SailPoint IIQ.The ideal candidate will have direct experience supporting application onboarding, provisioning workflows, connector configurations, identity lifecycle management, workflow customization, and SailPoint troubleshooting activities. Candidates should be actively working within SailPoint IIQ environments and supporting implementation-focused IAM operations.This is not a governance-only or architecture-focused role. The selected candidate will work directly within the SailPoint platform to configure, troubleshoot, customize, test, and support identity management solutions.Location: Joint Base Andrews, Prime Contractor Facility in Arlington, VA, and/or RemoteKey ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end onboarding of enterprise applications into SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)Configure and maintain SailPoint connectors and integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, cloud applications, and enterprise systemsSupport development and customization of SailPoint workflows, lifecycle events, provisioning rules, and approval processesDevelop and troubleshoot Java and BeanShell-based SailPoint rules and customizationsTroubleshoot provisioning failures, aggregation issues, schema discovery problems, entitlement mapping discrepancies, and connector synchronization issuesSupport identity lifecycle management processes including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) eventsPerform entitlement analysis, access mapping, and attribute validation to support accurate identity governanceSupport REST/SOAP integrations between SailPoint and downstream enterprise systemsParticipate in testing, deployment, and operational support activities for SailPoint onboarding initiativesReview logs and debug SailPoint provisioning and aggregation processesCollaborate with application owners, IAM engineers, and security teams to support onboarding and access governance activitiesMinimum QualificationsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT, cybersecurity, or identity and access managementActive DoD Secret ClearanceHands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations as a developer with proficiency in JavaMinimum 3 years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) development experienceAbility to develop custom connectors, rules, and workflows using JavaExperience writing and debugging BeanShell scripts for customization within IdentityIQAbility to work with XML for configuration, policy definitions, and data exchangeExperience integrating IdentityIQ with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web servicesFamiliarity with SailPoint APIs for extending and integrating IdentityIQ functionalityKnowledge of access certifications, role management, provisioning, and governance features in IdentityIQExperience with version control tools (e.g., Git)Experience creating and maintaining custom connectors for integrating HR systems, directories, or cloud applicationsExperience implementing and troubleshooting IdentityIQ rules including certification rules and policy rulesExperience troubleshooting provisioning failures, connector synchronization issues, entitlement aggregation issues, and identity lifecycle eventsFamiliarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsCompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certificationExperience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, or enterprise applicationsExperience supporting ICAM, Zero Trust, or IAM modernization initiativesFamiliarity with NIST, RMF, or federal cybersecurity compliance frameworksExperience supporting large enterprise or federal IAM environmentsClearanceActive DoD Secret Clearance RequiredApply for PositionWorking at AssuritAssurit is an award winning, certified small business headquartered in Fairfax, VA.
