This role requires the ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of technical and analytical requirements and facilitate communication, coordination, and integration of IT initiatives across organizations.Candidates with a background in data science, cloud technologies (preferably AWS), big data technologies (Hadoop and Spark), and system integration are highly sought after for this position.Location: Linthicum, MD (Hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical liaison activities to facilitate communication and collaboration on various initiativesOversee the integration of technical systems, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, including familiarity with unclassified and secret systemsUtilize metrics tools, analytics platforms, and AI technologies, with experience in large-scale IT systems and understanding of end-user use casesDesign and manage system architectures that meet mission-critical needs while integrating robust cybersecurity principlesProvide expertise in cloud environments, preferably AWS, ensuring effective integration and management of systemsLead initiatives focused on big data technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiencyWork closely with technical and management teams to meet objectives and resolve challengesDevelop technical reports and documentation related to system integration and managementRequired QualificationsMust have an active TS/SCI security clearanceMaster’s degree and 10 years of relevant experienceStrong experience in data science, systems engineering, or systems integration, with a proven ability to handle complex technical projectsProficient in cloud environments, particularly AWSMust possess one or more of the following cloud certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Big Data-Specialty, Cloudera Certified Professional, or CCSPPractical experience managing big data solutions, particularly in high-volume analytics and data processing environmentsFamiliarity with specific tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Apache KafkaExpertise in metrics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau), analytics platforms (e.g., SAS, Power BI), and AI tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) within classified and unclassified systemsPreferred QualificationsCertifications in systems engineering or cybersecurity (e.g., INCOSE, CISSP)Strong project management and leadership abilities with professional program/project management certificationExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical details to non-technical stakeholdersExperience leading technical cyber teams involving computer network exploitation or digital forensics technologySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environmentFlexibility to adapt to changing situationsApply for PositionWorking at AssuritAssurit is an award winning, certified small business headquartered in Fairfax, VA.
