You'll run residential work independently, manage jobs from start to finish, and help shape how Gridwise delivers residential electrical services as we grow. Your field insight directly influences how we scope work, schedule crews, and maintain install quality.We're looking for someone who:Sees issues early and communicates them clearly - to the team and to customersTakes ownership of job quality, safety, and finish on every projectThinks like a builder, not just a technician - you care about how we run, not just what's on today's task listHas an entrepreneurial mindset and wants to help grow a young company, not just collect a paycheckIs ready to step into a foreman role as our residential operation scales - if you already think like a lead, even without the title, this role is designed to grow with youWHAT YOU'LL DORun residential electrical jobs independently with support as needed - from reading plans and pulling permits to final inspectionInstall and wire panels, circuits, lighting, EV chargers, smart home systems, and other residential systemsTroubleshoot and repair existing electrical systems with accuracy and efficiencyCommunicate directly with homeowners in a way that's clear, kind, and professionalProvide practical field input on scoping, labor, and scheduling to help us estimate and plan betterREQUIREMENTSActive California DIR/DLSE Electrician Certification (journeyman level) for work under a C-10 contractor - required within 90 days of your start date. We can cover the required course + state fees if you're eligible.5+ years of hands-on electrical experience with meaningful residential workStrong working knowledge of NEC code, troubleshooting, service equipment, and safe work practicesValid California driver's license with clean driving recordComfortable using a phone or tablet for job info, photos, and team communicationNice-to-have:Prior lead or foreman experience (or readiness to step into it)Experience with EV charger installations and smart home systemsHas their own toolsHas their own van (comes with extra pay)Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusWHAT YOU'LL GETTop-tier pay: $60-70/hourStarts part-time, growing to full-time this year.
