Full Stack Developer (.NET / Python)Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading alternative asset manager focused on credit and structured finance investments that is looking to add an experienced Full Stack Developer to its front office technology team. This individual will play a key role in designing and developing scalable applications that support trading, investment research, analytics, and business-critical workflows. The position offers direct interaction with investment professionals and provides the opportunity to build technology solutions that drive business outcomes in a fast-paced financial environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain front office applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliabilityPartner with business users, investment professionals, and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsBuild and support full stack applications utilizing modern software development frameworks and best practicesContribute to code quality initiatives including testing, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD processesIdentify opportunities to automate and improve business workflows and operational efficiencyProvide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team membersParticipate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategyDevelop a strong understanding of financial markets, investment processes, and valuation workflows to support business needsStay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systemsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field7+ years of professional software development experienceStrong programming experience with C#/.NET and/or PythonExperience building scalable enterprise applications and distributed systemsProficiency with modern front-end technologies including Angular, React, or VueStrong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and full stack application architectureExperience working with SQL and NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based development environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and software development best practicesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skillsPrior experience within financial services, capital markets, asset management, trading technology, or investment platforms is highly preferredExposure to valuation systems, front office technology, or financial analytics is a plus
