Senior Mobile Device Lifecycle Manager

They provide advanced data‑capture and patient‑facing solutions used across global clinical studies. Their platforms power next‑generation digital trials by enabling secure, reliable, and compliant data collection through mobile devices, sensors, and remote‑capture tools.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Mobile Device Lifecycle Manager to lead and mature the device management function responsible for all mobile hardware deployed across global clinical programs.This leader will oversee a small cross‑platform MDM team, define long‑term strategy, and ensure the secure acquisition, configuration, deployment, tracking, and retirement of large‑volume fleets of Windows tablets, iOS devices, and Android hardware.The current environment is evolving, with new workflows, a major MDM migration underway, and opportunities to standardize and scale operations. This role is ideal for someone who can be both strategic and hands‑on, build processes that hold up in regulated environments, and elevate a team through strong people leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team supporting Windows, iOS, and Android device fleets.Own the full mobile device lifecycle: procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, refresh cycles, and secure end‑of‑life.Define and implement a multi‑year device lifecycle strategy, including forecasting, cost control, tooling, and process optimization.Drive an ongoing MDM migration project, including transitioning Windows devices into a unified platform (SOTI or similar).Evaluate current workflows and create scalable, compliant processes and SOPs that support a highly regulated environment.Manage vendor relationships, including annual reviews and coordination with MDM solution providers.Oversee device inventory accuracy, asset tracking, usage analytics, and audit‑ready documentation.Ensure the team is cross‑trained and able to support all platforms consistently.Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, and operations teams to align device readiness with organizational timelines and regulatory requirements.Roll up sleeves when needed-this is a hands‑on operational leadership role.Qualifications6+ years of experience in mobile device management and people leadership.Experience managing multi‑OS environments (Windows, iOS, Android).Strong background with MDM/UEM solutions (SOTI preferred; Intune, MobileIron, AirWatch, or similar acceptable).Proven experience supporting large device fleets in complex or regulated environments (clinical, healthcare, pharma, or similar is a plus).Experience leading or executing device/MDM migration projects.Strong documentation, process design, and operational management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Comfortable operating in a hands‑on leadership role.Ability to work cross‑functionally and drive alignment across technical and non‑technical teams.This role is remote in the US.
