We're excited to provide the best education in the best environment to our students!Academies of Math and Science3rd Grade Teacher - 2026-2027 School YearLocation: 7301 E Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85209Compensation Range: $48,334.25 - $54,571.89 (DOE)Start Date: Summer 2026Position OverviewAMS is seeking a dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to join the AMS Power Campus and help prepare scholars for key academic milestones in upper elementary school.The 3rd Grade Teacher will focus on strengthening reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and multi-step mathematical reasoning, while preparing students for increased academic rigor and state assessments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Student AchievementDeliver rigorous instruction aligned with Arizona academic standards and AMS curriculum.Support students in developing reading comprehension, writing skills, and mathematical problem-solving abilities.Use assessment data to monitor student growth and provide targeted support.Classroom Culture & Student DevelopmentCreate a structured and engaging learning environment.Implement PBIS strategies to support student behavior and accountability.Collaboration & Professional GrowthParticipate in professional learning communities and staff development opportunities.Family EngagementMaintain open communication with families and support strong home-school partnerships.Minimum QualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following requirements:Bachelor's degree in Education or Elementary EducationORValid Arizona teaching certificationORMinimum of three (3) years of K-12 teaching experienceAdditional requirements include:Strong classroom management and instructional skillsIVP Fingerprint Clearance CardCommitment to serving diverse communities
