This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, operationalizing, and continuously improving training programs that support craft-based and operational organizations.The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing technical training portfolios, instructional design teams, and enterprise learning initiatives while partnering with business leaders, operations teams, and learning organizations to deliver scalable, measurable, and effective workforce development programs.Key Responsibilities• Lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise technical training programs• Develop and operationalize training strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce development objectives• Manage large-scale training portfolios and enterprise learning initiatives across multiple business units• Lead teams of instructional designers, training specialists, and project stakeholders• Analyze training effectiveness, performance outcomes, learning metrics, and operational impacts• Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, and implementation roadmaps for training initiatives• Collaborate with business leaders, operations teams, and enterprise learning organizations to identify training needs and priorities• Develop requirements, establish milestones, and ensure successful execution of training programs• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce capability development and training effectiveness• Develop executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics• Support organizational change management and workforce readiness initiatives• Ensure training programs comply with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements• Operate effectively within complex, fast-paced, and ambiguous environmentsWhat You'll Be Working On• Enterprise technical training programs• Workforce development and capability building initiatives• Instructional design and learning strategy programs• Technical training operations and performance measurement• Learning management and organizational effectiveness initiatives• Cross-functional enterprise transformation projects• Training portfolio management and operational excellence• Utility workforce readiness and technical competency programsRequired Skills & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Education, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)• 10+ years of experience managing technical training programs and enterprise learning initiatives• Deep knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles• Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide training strategies• Experience leading instructional design teams and cross-functional project teams• Strong project management skills with experience managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables• Experience analyzing training effectiveness, learning outcomes, and operational performance metrics• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications• Experience with Articulate learning development software• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex environments with changing prioritiesDesired Skills• Experience managing technical training programs within utility, military, aviation, aerospace, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries• Experience leading enterprise workforce development initiatives• Knowledge of instructional systems design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)• Experience with learning management systems (LMS)• Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives• Experience building executive dashboards and learning analytics reports• Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership capabilities• Experience working within large enterprise environments with complex operational workforces
