Senior Accountant

Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a blend of public accounting and industry experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in GAAP, a proven track record of driving efficient month-end close cycles, and hands-on experience with treasury operations and cash management. This role is an opportunity to take ownership of core accounting processes while partnering closely with finance leadership.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis on time and with accuracy. Manage daily cash positioning and treasury operations, including bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and intercompany funding activity. Monitor and maintain cash management systems; coordinate with banking partners on transactions, reporting, and any escalated items. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP; support external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and audit support. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in close cycles and treasury workflows. Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and internal and external stakeholders to support reporting and strategic decisions Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications, Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Demonstrated experience owning month-end close High proficiency in Excel Preferred Qualifications CPA preferred 2+ years in public accounting 2+ years in an industry accounting role Direct experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate banking relationships Experience with cash flow forecasting models Work EnvironmentThis is largely a sedentary role.
