NAVARA| Location: Portland Cement Plant COABOUT THE ROLEUnder the direction of the Production Coordinator, the Production Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the efficient operation of all production processes.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nExercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment\nResponsible to maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes.\nMake routine operation and preventative maintenance inspections of process equipment, report all unusual conditions, and prepare work orders for maintenance when required.\nOperate dump trucks, skid loader, front end loader, forklift and other equipment.\nAble to clean the preheater tower with jack hammers and air lances.\nAs directed, reclaim sand, iron ore, gypsum and clinker into the process.\nOperate limestone reclaimers to face storage piles and position reclaimers prior to the start of reclaim operation.\nAs directed, lubricate, inspect, adjust or make repairs to process equipment.\nCompletion of the Area Safety Inspection, Mobile Equipment Checklist and any other documentation as required.\nGeneral housekeeping - keep work areas clean.\nMust be able to work rotating shifts.\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: High School diploma/GED Required Work Experience: 1-3 years Licenses Preferred: Valid Driver's License Required Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.Additional Requirements: \n\nMust be able to climb stairs and ladders and work in both hot and cold environments.\nMust be able to work in awkward positions for short periods of time.\nMust be able to work in confined areas and elevated platforms (working at heights).\nKnowledge of the cement manufacturing process and equipment a plus.\nAble to obtain ATF clearance for handling of explosives\nRead, write and speak English.\nBasic computer skills.\nStrong work standards and attendance record.\nClass B or higher CDL is a plus.\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
