Associate Therapist

Job Title: Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW)Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Typical Business HoursSetting: In-Person | Treatment CenterAbout Us:We are a leading treatment center dedicated to supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Our multidisciplinary team provides compassionate, evidence-based care designed to foster lasting recovery and wellness.Position Summary:The Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic support to clients in our residential program. This role includes facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, collaborating with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans, and supporting clients in their journey toward recovery and mental wellness.Under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor, the Therapist plays a key role in delivering trauma-informed, client-centered care in a structured residential environment.Responsibilities:Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planningFacilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.)Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans, updating as clinically indicatedCollaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including medical staff, case managers, and behavioral health techniciansMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR system (experience with KIPU or similar EMR preferred)Participate in clinical staff meetings, case consultations, and training sessionsProvide crisis intervention support as neededCommunicate effectively with family members and outside providers, as appropriateEnsure compliance with ethical and legal standards governing clinical practiceMaintain all licensing board and facility documentation requirementsQualifications:Registered Associate with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in good standingMaster’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fieldExperience working in dual-diagnosis or substance use treatment settings preferredStrong understanding of co-occurring disorders and evidence-based practicesFamiliarity with trauma-informed care approachesProficient in clinical documentation and treatment planningExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to maintain professional boundaries and work effectively as part of a teamCompensation:$70,000 - $72,500 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
