This person creates and supports team culture to drive operational excellence and deliver a superior member experience. Pilates Managers are goal-oriented, results-driven, eager to interact with members, and excited to develop and manage a team of high-performing talent. Other duties not listed here may be assigned as necessary to ensure proper department operations.Operational Management:Strive to achieve monthly and annual department financial goalsEnsure the quality delivered through complimentary and paid Pilates services results in continued Pilates engagementAttend weekly club management meetings and monthly meetings with Pilates InstructorsCollaborate with Membership Advisors to offer Pilates businessOrganize and participate in club special eventsImplement and execute all operational SOPs including administrative duties associated with client outreach and staff accountabilitiesLeader of Team Culture:Collaborate with all departments of the club to achieve interdepartmental synergyFacilitate team meetings to create a positive team culture and promote continuous growth and developmentBehavior and performance management of Pilates instructors to maintain a high-quality team that upholds the brand standards and expectations of their roleBuild and manage one's own Pilates business while coaching and supporting the team to do the sameActive hiring partner and participant in the interview processResponsible for providing an excellent candidate experience by efficiently scheduling interviews and making hiring decisionsProactively assess and communicate staffing needs to achieve monthly and annual hiring goalsLead the operational and sales components of new-hire onboardingLearning & Development:Training and developing of new and existing Pilates Instructors to build and maintain their businessesShare & promote our Pilates continuing education workshopsOpportunity to participate in the Equinox Pilates Education ProgramPosition RequirementsCertified on all Pilates apparatus and have completed a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher training program with a minimum of 400 hoursAspire to drive a business and achieve financial goalsDemonstrates professionalism to all employees and membersAbility to create team accountability through structured timelines and required documentationAbility to manage a high volume of inbound communication and respond in a timely mannerStrong organizational and time management skillsVerbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated outgoing and collaborative social skills with a strong desire to interact with members, clients, and staffPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated successful leadership ability in an educational, fitness, or management settingPrevious experience in providing a high caliber of customer servicePrevious sales experience with a specific focus on attracting new clients and retentionPay Transparency: $66,300; Plus ability to conduct sessions and earn bonus and commissionsWe offer competitive salary, benefits, and industry leading commission opportunities for club employeesComplimentary Club membershipPerks and incentives with our products and services including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa and ShopThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
