With expertise in design, manufacturing, testing, and project management, Segula helps businesses tackle complex engineering challenges while fostering innovation and sustainability.Job DescriptionPerform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manualsTroubleshoot and repair basic engine and related aircraft problems at on-site and off-site locationsAssist in complex engine and related aircraft repairs at on-site and off-site locationsPerform removal, installation, and replacement of engines, accessoriesDisassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft enginesReplace all Line Replace Units (LRU) as requiredAssist with fueling/defueling aircraft as requiredAssist with engine operational check and functional testsAssist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in the operation of ground support equipment (GSE), for example, ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing unitsAssist Aviation Maintenance Technicians and Electronic/Avionics Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing aircraftPerform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs as requiredAccess and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of assigned tasksMay perform Designated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QAAssist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualificationQualificationsMinimum 5-8 years of aircraft turbine engine line or shop maintenance or substantiated equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience on corporate jet aircraft and a minimum of 1 year of experience on Bombardier aircraftOpen to experience working in back shop and machine shop environments, specializing in engine repair and maintenance, proficient in completing engine R&R'S, borescopes and written reports - CTH (REQ TBD)You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) licenseYou have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manualsOwn basic hand tools and manage tool inventory.US Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship#JSFIRMAdditional InformationHere's a heads-up of the upcoming steps:Phone Interview with Recruiter: We'll begin with an introductory call to discuss your background and interest in the role.Interview with the Hiring ManagerOffer Letter: We ́ll extend you an offer and start the onboarding process.Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check, which includes reviewing criminal history, and other relevant records.
