This role will delve into how relationships, strategy, and positioning come together to win work in a professional services environment.Key Responsibilities:Market & Client ResearchResearch target clients, industries, and upcoming opportunitiesTrack capital improvement plans, funding programs, and industry trendsDevelop client profiles and data pointsBD & Pursuit SupportAssist in preparing for client meetings (agendas, background briefs, notes)Support proposal and interview preparation (slides, resumes, project sheets)Help maintain and organize pursuit pipelines and tracking toolsRelationship & Event SupportAssist with coordination of client events, conferences, and outreach effortsAttend select meetings or industry events (when appropriate)Capture notes and key takeaways for follow-up actionInternal CoordinationWork with technical teams to gather project information and updatesHelp standardize BD materials and templatesSupport CRM data entry and maintenanceREQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:Candidates must have completed at least one year of college and pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Business related degree is required.IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:Great work-ethic and are a highly motivated student with a strong academic performanceHave sincere desire to gain experience in and knowledge of the company and industryGood organizational and communication (oral and written) skillsFocused and attention to detail with ability to identify discrepanciesCollaborate and work well in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS ExcelLEVEL UP WITH LJAAt LJA, we're 100% employee-owned.
