Position Summary:
We are looking for an energetic, professional, detailed-orientated receptionist to join our front office team. The primary function of this position is to answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the appropriate person or department efficiently and professionally. In addition, this position also manages blank order processing and corresponds with dealers via email. You will be the first person our visitors meet upon arriving at Richardson, so excellent customer service skills are imperative. Richardson provides advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Front Desk
Answer phone calls in a timely fashion and in a skilled and upbeat manner
Transfer to the appropriate department or person quickly and efficiently
Manage switchboard efficiently when putting customers on hold
Greet visitors professionally and with a smile
Keep the front desk area professional and clean
Processing
Process blank stock orders from our website, via fax or email
Effectively communicate with accounts concerning product information, inventory availability and delivery times.
Develop a complete knowledge of the products and services Richardson offers
Assist customers with problem resolution as needed while maintaining a trusted relationships with accounts
Correspond with dealers regarding tracking, back order, inventory related questions and new credit cards and other confidential data handling
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
At least a year of Customer Service-related experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidentiality
Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Solid experience with MS Office and strong computer and key boarding skills.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
High School Diploma or GED but college preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
