Cloud Prognostics Engineer

Now Hiring: Cloud Prognostics Engineer Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid, 4 Days Onsite) Pay: Starting at $42.31+/hour Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with a passion for connected vehicles, predictive maintenance, cloud analytics, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)? We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Prognostics Engineer to support the development of advanced vehicle health monitoring and prognostic technologies. In this contract role, you will help design and deliver next-generation diagnostic and prognostic features by combining systems engineering, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, C++ development, cloud data analytics, and automotive architecture expertise. Key Responsibilities Develop prognostic and diagnostic solutions using MATLAB, Simulink, and C++ Create system architectures and requirements using SysML, MagicDraw, Jama, Jira, and Teamcenter Analyze connected vehicle, CAN bus, and sensor data using SQL and cloud-based platforms Define and validate system requirements, interfaces, and verification plans Conduct FMEA, FMEDA, cybersecurity assessments, and functional safety activities Support vehicle integration, sensor validation, and laboratory testing environments Optimize cloud-to-vehicle communications, data transmission, and telemetry strategies Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve vehicle quality and customer experience Qualifications Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of automotive engineering, systems engineering, or data analytics experience Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, MBSE, SysML, and MagicDraw Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, diagnostics, and prognostics Experience with DFMEA, P-Diagrams, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Apply today to join a team developing innovative connected vehicle, predictive analytics, cloud engineering, and automotive systems solutions in a high-impact contract opportunity.
