Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a primary care setting. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.DutiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans based on clinical findings.Administer medications and injections as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.Manage acute pain.Document patient information accurately using EMR systems.Provide education to patients regarding health coaching, nutrition, and disease prevention.Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and patient data.ExperienceCandidates should possess the following qualifications:Experience in various medical settings, primary care a plusFamiliarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for accurate billing practices.Proficiency in performing procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, and IV infusion.Experience with telehealth services is a plus.Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to support effective patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
