Job Title: Plant & Machinery Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Mentor, OHOverview:A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled Plant & Machinery Maintenance Technician to support ongoing production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Inspect equipment, perform adjustments, and document test readings and repairsExecute routine and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and production disruptionsDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsPerform preventative maintenance using established programs and checklistsMaintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment documentationAssemble, align, and repair mechanical and electrical components using appropriate tools and equipmentRespond promptly to equipment failures and facility service requestsEnsure proper operation of machinery including CNC equipment, welding systems, and air systemsFabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairsInvestigate equipment malfunctions and collaborate with team members to resolve issuesSupport installation and testing of new equipmentFollow all safety procedures, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout protocolsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentComplete documentation of all work performedPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED required3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong experience with CNC maintenance and troubleshootingWorking knowledge of machining, welding, electrical systems, and hydraulicsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong sense of accountability and urgency regarding equipment uptimeForklift maintenance experience is a plusBenefits:Competitive compensationComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchFlexible spending accountsShort-term and long-term disability coverageLife insuranceEqual Opportunity Employer:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
