Entry-Level Maintenance Technician – ManufacturingLocation: Painesville, OHPay: $19–$21/hour Based on ExperienceShift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOvertime potential available including off-shifts and weekends as neededHire Sync is hiring an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing operation in Painesville. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates looking to build a long-term career in industrial maintenance and equipment repair.This role is ideal for candidates with trade school training, mechanical experience, welding exposure, or hands-on maintenance knowledge who are ready to grow within a manufacturing environment.What You'll Do:Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial vacuum dryers, extruders, and related production equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and routine service on company machineryComplete product and filter changeovers on equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with equipment repairsPerform basic welding for maintenance and repair workAssist with basic wiring of motors, valves, and related equipmentHelp repair and build gear boxes and other mechanical componentsFollow confined space procedures, permit requirements, and LOTO safety proceduresUse hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasksSupport additional maintenance and facility needs as assignedWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED requiredTrade school education or maintenance certification is a plusBasic mechanical background through work experience, education, or training requiredBasic welding knowledge or training requiredBasic electrical knowledge including motors and wiring preferredAbility to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance on machineryComfortable climbing ladders, stairs, and working around industrial equipmentAbility to routinely lift up to 50 lbsSteel-toed boots requiredWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Great entry point into industrial maintenanceHands-on opportunity to build mechanical, electrical, and welding skillsStable 1st shift schedule with overtime potentialLong-term career growth opportunity within manufacturingWork with a variety of industrial equipment and systemsApply today to start building your career in industrial maintenance with a hands-on team environment focused on growth and skill development.
