The Chief of Operations provides leadership for company personnel, briefings to customers, and ensures the site is staffed in accordance with approved manning directives and policies. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!ResponsibilitiesConducts all scheduled satellite pass supports, readiness, training, and exercisesManages union personnelEnsures all operations tasks are conducted in accordance with approved directivesWrites and reviews site operational instructions, ensuring compliance by employeesCoordinates all operational activities with customers including the prime contractor and government personnelInterfaces with Akima Shared Services on employee issues; payroll, timekeeping, benefits, etc.Collects and analyzes operational performance data; recommends process improvementsEnsures mission success is maintained/improved with current/future satellite pass requirementsEnforces standards and deploys company directed discipline practices when neededConducts and supervises employee technical training program in an on-the-job environmentActs as liaison to government customer for all contract related mattersPerforms other collateral duties as assigned or directedQualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field with at least five (5) years Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) experience.
