A Property Manager oversees the daily operations of residential property on behalf of owners or property management companies. Responsibilities typically include: * Tenant Relations: Managing tenant inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. * Leasing and Rent Collection: Advertising vacancies, screening applicants, executing leases, and collecting rent payments. * Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinating maintenance requests, scheduling repairs, and ensuring properties are well-maintained. * Budgeting and Financial Management: Handling property finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting. * Inspections and Compliance: Conducting regular property inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations and lease agreements. * Property Marketing: Developing marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants, including online listings and promotional activities. * Vendor Management: Hiring and overseeing contractors, vendors, and service providers. * Administrative Tasks: Handling paperwork, maintaining records, and managing property-related documentation. Overall, a Property Manager is responsible for maximizing the value of properties while ensuring a positive experience for tenants and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
