Position Overview The selected candidate will serve as a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer supporting the design, deployment, and security of cloud-based infrastructure in a mission-focused environment. This role emphasizes building scalable, resilient systems that enable software delivery, data processing, and automated workflows.
The candidate will operate at the intersection of development, operations, and security, ensuring that infrastructure is reliable, maintainable, and compliant with operational requirements. This position requires direct engagement with technical teams and end users to design solutions that effectively support mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture & Engineering
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
Ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient, and aligned with operational requirements
Support deployment and sustainment of mission-critical systems
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop and manage infrastructure using code-based approaches (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Maintain configuration management and automate provisioning processes
Ensure repeatability and consistency across environments
Automation & Tooling
Develop automation scripts (e.g., Python) to integrate systems and streamline workflows
Reduce manual processes through scalable automation solutions
Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
DevSecOps Integration
Integrate security practices into development and deployment pipelines
Ensure systems meet compliance and security requirements without impacting delivery timelines
Collaborate with development teams to implement secure and efficient workflows
Requirements & Collaboration
Engage with stakeholders and development teams to gather infrastructure requirements
Translate operational needs into scalable and secure architecture solutions
Provide ongoing support and enhancements based on user feedback
Required Qualifications Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or additional experience in lieu of degree)
Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Strong foundation in Linux systems administration
Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git-based platforms)
Experience working in a DevSecOps or DevOps environment
Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI-assisted software development or engineering workflows
Familiarity with agent-based or AI-driven automation frameworks
Knowledge of signals intelligence (SIGINT) collection and analysis systems
Experience supporting operational CNO capabilities and environments
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
