Sterile Processing Tech Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,065 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience in sterile processing required. Level 1 trauma experience preferred. License: Valid State License required. Certifications: HSPA/CRCST certified required. Must-Have: Proficient in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts, and scope reprocessing. Experience in multiple service lines including Ortho, Neuro, CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries. Description: Required certification in HSPA/CRCST. Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required. Proficient in decontamination processes. Experienced in assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments. Skilled in case cart preparation and scope reprocessing. Demonstrated experience working with orthopedic, neurosurgical, and general surgical teams. No time-off requests will be granted during the first contract. Mandatory compliance with core exams. No on-call responsibilities. Travelers must have previous experience in the required specialty. Must have experience with fiber optics and a range of surgical instruments. Team-oriented with excellent customer service skills. Attention to detail and punctuality are essential.
