Company Description The West Tampa Early Learning Center has been operating in West Tampa for 25 plus years. Role Description This full-time position as a Daycare Director is an on-site role located in Tampa, FL. The Daycare Director will oversee the daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for children. Responsibilities include managing staff, developing and implementing early childhood education programs, coordinating schedules, overseeing budgets, and engaging with families to support children’s development and education. Qualifications Experience in early childhood education, program coordination, and curriculum developmentStrong leadership, staff management, and decision-making skillsAbility to foster and maintain relationships with parents, students, and staffKnowledge of state and local regulations related to childcare and safetyExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in administrative responsibilities, including budgeting and record-keepingBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related fieldChildcare Director Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification
