In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure that power our analytics and data-driven decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesAssist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelinesSupport data ingestion from a variety of sources including APIs, databases, and flat filesHelp monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issuesWrite clean, well-documented SQL and Python code for data transformation tasksCollaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirementsContribute to data quality checks, validation frameworks, and testingParticipate in code reviews and team standupsDocument data flows, schemas, and processesQualificationsQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related fieldFamiliarity with Python or another programming languageBasic understanding of SQL and relational databasesExposure to data concepts such as data modeling, ETL processes, or data warehousing (coursework counts)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEagerness to learn and ability to work independentlyNice to HaveExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Familiarity with tools like Spark, Airflow, dbt, or KafkaKnowledge of version control with GitPrior internship or project experience with data pipelines or large datasetsWhat You’ll GainHands-on experience with real-world data infrastructureMentorship from senior data engineersExposure to modern data stack tools and best practicesOpportunity to contribute to meaningful projects with measurable impact
