They are seeking an Information Security Analyst II – Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist to join their growing cybersecurity team.This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional who is passionate about education, communication, and reducing human risk through impactful security awareness programs. The ideal candidate can translate complex cybersecurity concepts into practical guidance for non-technical audiences while driving engagement and measurable improvements across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees across the organizationCreate and present cybersecurity awareness content through virtual and in-person presentationsTranslate technical cybersecurity concepts such as phishing, ransomware, MFA, and data protection into clear, user-friendly languageManage and support security awareness platforms and learning toolsAnalyze training participation, phishing simulation results, and user behavior data to generate meaningful metrics and reportsContinuously improve awareness content and training materials based on emerging threats, organizational needs, and performance metricsPartner with IT, Security, HR, and Compliance teams to align awareness initiatives with company policies and risk management goalsSupport enterprise-wide security campaigns, communications, and awareness events including Security Awareness Month and phishing simulationsQualifications2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, information security, training, or a related fieldExperience training or mentoring employees with varying levels of technical expertiseStrong presentation, verbal communication, and written communication skillsAbility to explain technical cybersecurity concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience developing and reporting on training effectiveness metricsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsPreferred BackgroundExperience working with security awareness platforms and training toolsBackground in employee engagement, communications, or instructional delivery within cybersecurity environmentsCandidates from a variety of industries are encouraged to applyAdditional DetailsOne round interview process with the hiring manager and a Senior Cybersecurity SpecialistBachelor’s degree not requiredCertifications not requiredEquipment provided for both onsite and remote workThis role is best suited for candidates focused on cybersecurity awareness, education, communication, and human risk reductionCandidates with primarily operations, networking, SOX compliance, or forensics backgrounds will not be consideredPlease submit your resume in Word or PDF format to be considered.
