Description:The Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist is responsible for delivering and continuously improving the organization's security awareness and training program. This role focuses on educating employees at all levels on cybersecurity best practices, reducing human risk, and driving measurable improvements through effective training, communication, and metrics.The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a critical thinker, and a cybersecurity professional who can translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-technical audiences.Responsibilities :Develop, and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees across the organizationCreate and deliver engaging presentations to communicate cybersecurity concepts, initiatives, and awareness content. (virtual and in-person)Translate technical cybersecurity concepts (e.g., phishing, ransomware, MFA, data protection) into clear, easy-to-understand languageUnderstand and manage security awareness platforms and learning toolsAnalyze training results and user behavior data to produce meaningful metrics and reportsContinuously improve training content based on metrics, emerging threats, and organizational needsCollaborate with IT, Security, HR, and Compliance teams to align training with policies, standards, and risk initiativesSupport security campaigns, communications, and awareness events (e.g., phishing simulations, Security Awareness Month)Qualifications :2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, information security, training, or a related roleDemonstrated experience training employees at various technical skill levelsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiencesAbility to explain technical and cybersecurity concepts in layman's termsExperience developing and reporting on training metrics and effectivenessStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a teamStrong organizational and time management skills
