Principal Coordinator -Time Labor Specialist

divh2Principal Coordinator - Time Labor Specialist/h2pCapital Ones Principal Coordinator - Time and Labor Specialist position will perform a wide variety of record keeping and processing activities to ensure associates time entries are updated in the system and inputs to payroll processing are accurate. They may be asked to support the broader payroll operations function as needed. Performers in this role are expected to work closely with Capital One Associates to answer their pay questions and resolve any issues with a key focus on associate experience./ppResponsibilities:/pulliPerforms daily tasks related to updating associates time entries and processing of time entries./liliInspects automated system output for errors and makes necessary corrections to time entries in the system./liliReaches out to associates to ensure their time is entered/updated in the system before the deadline./liliAssists other Capital One teams as required, to resolve errors and maintain or update accurate information in the payroll system./liliAssists the Tier I contact center representatives in handling and following up on inquiries related to time entry:/liliUnder direction of team lead, provides information in areas where policy, procedure or requirements are unclear/liliHandles telephone calls and inquiries requiring detailed knowledge about the time labor processes/liliProvides additional information and guidance to associates with questions concerning their pay/liliPerforms a variety of regularly scheduled and ad-hoc audits of the time data to maintain compliance with established standards./liliAssists in year-end W2 reporting and preparation./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliRegular attendance is required to be successful in this role and overtime may be required during critical production periods./li/ulpBasic Qualifications/Experience:/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent/liliExperience handling customer inquiries with a focus on associate experience/lili6 months of prior experience working with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive)/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/Experience:/pulliAssociate degree/liliProfessional certification such as FPC or CPP/lili1-2 years of previous accounting/payroll/benefits experience/liliExperience with Workday Time Tracking/liliExperience with case management systems/liliDemonstrated customer service skills, attention to detail and decision-making skills./liliExcellent written and verbal communication/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
