Physician Assistant Outpatient Psychiatry (Leadership Opportunity) Flexible Location (Outpatient Setting) Full-Time About the Role A busy, rapidly growing outpatient psychiatry practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care while taking on a leadership role. This position blends hands-on psychiatric care with mentorship, team development, and program oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior outpatient mental health experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose conditions, and manage medicationsProvide ongoing treatment and follow-up care for outpatient patientsLead, mentor, and support a team of Advanced Practice Providers (PAs and NPs)Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teamsEnsure adherence to clinical quality standards and regulatory requirementsContribute to process improvements and program development Qualifications Active, unrestricted CA PA license5+ years of outpatient psychiatry experience (adult, child/adolescent, or both)Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferredExcellent communication, collaboration, and team-building skillsStrong commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting Compensation & Benefits $175K $220K annual salaryMedical, dental, and vision coveragePTO and CME allowanceCollaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented work environment
