EUM / DER Engineer

Are you an FAA-authorized Engineering Unit Member (EUM) or Designated Engineering Representative (DER) looking to make an impact on commercial aircraft programs? We are seeking an experienced certification professional to support aircraft systems engineering efforts and ensure compliance with FAA airworthiness and certification requirements.In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between engineering teams and regulatory authorities, providing certification guidance and oversight throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support certification activities, interpret regulatory requirements, and help deliver compliant aircraft system designs.Responsibilities:Provide FAA certification and regulatory compliance support for commercial aircraft systemsReview engineering data and documentation to ensure compliance with FAA standards and regulationsPartner with engineering teams throughout the design, development, and certification processCoordinate with FAA representatives and internal stakeholders on certification activitiesSupport airworthiness assessments, compliance findings, and certification deliverablesProvide guidance on regulatory requirements and certification strategiesEnsure certification projects remain aligned with FAA regulations and company standardsRequired Qualifications:Active FAA Engineering Unit Member (EUM) and/or Designated Engineering Representative (DER) authorizationExperience supporting FAA certification activities for commercial aircraftStrong knowledge of FAA regulations, compliance requirements, and airworthiness standardsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical fieldPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting Boeing programsBackground in aircraft systems engineering, including flight controls, hydraulics, avionics, or electrical systemsExperience working within an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a certification expert who enjoys working closely with engineering teams and regulators to support the successful certification of commercial aircraft systems.
