This role requires strong technical skill in carpentry and formwork assembly, the ability to read and interpret construction plans, and a commitment to safe and precise execution in the field.Core ResponsibilitiesFormwork Construction and InstallationConstruct, erect, and install formwork using hand and power tools.Measure, cut, assemble, and install forms, rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts.Build both built-in-place and prefabricated wooden forms in accordance with project specifications.Structural Assembly and SupportInsert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain specified dimensions.Brace forms in place using nails, bolts, anchor bolts, steel cables, planks, and timber.Install all items in accordance with applicable plans and specifications.Concrete Placement and FinishingAssist in pouring concrete into finished forms.Finish concrete surfaces to meet quality and design specifications.Safety and ComplianceAdhere to all company safety protocols, project rules, and OSHA standards.Proactively identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and report them to supervision.Maintain tools and equipment in safe and working condition.Physical EffortAbility to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces.Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed based on project requirements.Ability to observe and comply with all safety protocols and jobsite rules.Preferred Qualifications35 years of concrete form carpentry experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret construction plans.Proficiency with electrical, hand, power, layout, and measurement tools.Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.Strong communication skills to collaborate with management and team members.Core CompetenciesRNGD Values AlignmentExemplifies RNGDs core values:Renegade MentalitySweep FloorsBuild TogetherHonor PromisesTechnical Expertise and CraftmanshipDemonstrates strong carpentry and formwork skills with precision and consistency.Accurately measures, cuts, assembles, and installs materials with minimal rework required.Applies best practices in concrete forming and finishing to meet project quality expectations.Safety MindsetFollows all safety rules, procedures, and OSHA requirements without exception.Identifies hazardous conditions early and takes immediate action to correct or report them.Uses tools, equipment, and PPE properly to protect self and team members.Teamwork and CollaborationWorks effectively with carpenters, laborers, equipment operators, and supervisors.Communicates needs, concerns, and progress clearly and respectfully.Supports teammates to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Problem Solving and AdaptabilityAnticipates construction challenges and adjusts plans or methods appropriately.Able to adapt quickly to changing conditions, project priorities, or site requirements.Applies practical, field-tested solutions to keep work progressing smoothly.Organization and Work EthicApproaches tasks with discipline, efficiency, and attention to detail.Maintains tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility for assigned work.RNGD is an equal opportunity employer.
