Account Manager
Made in America is an Austin-based manufacturer of complex, high-tolerance components and assemblies serving mission-critical markets including space, aerospace, defense, and precision industrial applications. We are hiring an Account Manager to own and grow our largest foundational customer account. This is a high-visibility role focused on relationship management, open order execution, proactive communication, and revenue growth through expanded wallet share.What You'll Do:Own the day-to-day relationship and communication with a key strategic customerManage open order reports, delivery schedules, customer updates, and issue resolutionDrive account growth by expanding programs, increasing wallet share, and converting RFQsPartner cross-functionally with Estimating, Scheduling, Purchasing, and OperationsIdentify risks early and communicate clearly with both customers and internal teamsMaintain strong CRM discipline in SalesforceWhat We're Looking ForExperience managing and growing key or strategic customer accountsStrong organization, communication, and follow-through in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively across technical and commercial stakeholdersProficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work on-site in Austin, TXPreferred ExperienceManufacturing, aerospace, defense, or precision industrial experienceFamiliarity with MRP systems, ideally JobBOSSBlueprint reading and/or GD&T knowledgeWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means building trust with a critical customer, improving order visibility and communication, growing revenue from the account, and helping convert more opportunities into long-term programs.
