Embedded Software Engineer Opportunity | Onsite | Chandler, AZWe are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems. You will be responsible for software development for embedded hardware, ensuring high performance, reliability, and real-time functionality. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for various applications. Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software performance and ensure seamless integration with embedded systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C/C++ or other relevant languages. Develop and execute unit tests, debugging, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues. Participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Analyze system requirements and contribute to project planning and timelines. Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in embedded systems. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in writing embedded C in bare metal. Proficiency in using ARM processors and hardware design. Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) with at least 3 years of experience. Experience with hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO. Proficiency in schematic capture using Altium and PCB layout. Development experience for 32-bit ARM processors, firmware, and Linux. Experience with VLDC and Python. Proficiency in low-level programming and debugging tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in Embedded Systems Programming (C). Knowledge of Control System Architectures (PIDs). Understanding of Serial Communication Protocols (RS232/485, CAN, LIN). Experience with vision control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
