As a vital part of the global Davies Group, we help businesses navigate risk, optimize operations, and spearhead transformation in the insurance and regulated sectors.We are seeking a Complex Liability Claims Manager (Property Damage + Bodily Injury) to lead a team handling auto and/or general liability claims across both Property Damage (PD) and Bodily Injury (BI) exposures. This role is responsible for driving claim outcomes, managing litigation, and elevating team performance across a mixed-severity portfolio.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise in both PD and BI claims, including represented and litigated files.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of liability adjusters handling:Property Damage (coverage, estimates, subrogation)Bodily Injury (non-represented through litigated claims)Oversee end-to-end claim lifecycleProvide direction on: Coverage analysis, Liability determination, Reserve setting, Settlement strategyManage litigated claims and outside counsel relationshipsDrive file quality, cycle time, and indemnity/expense controlCoach team on: Negotiation strategies, Litigation management, Complex claim handlingEnsure compliance with jurisdictional regulations and internal standardsPartner with clients/stakeholders (if TPA environment)Skills, knowledge & expertise7-10+ years of liability claims experienceDirect experience handling BOTH PD and BI claimsStrong experience with: Represented and litigated BI claims, Attorney negotiation and settlement strategy, Coverage analysis and liability investigation3-5+ years of leadership experience (Supervisor/Manager)Experience managing multi-state claimsTPA or third-party claims environment experienceCommercial Auto and/or General Liability exposureExperience leading mixed PD + BI teamsClaims system proficiency (Guidewire, etc.)Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal NoticesBenefitsAt Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well-being and future of our qualifying employees.
