We do all of this with kindness, empathy and respect for each other.Description Of DutiesInnovate and develop test automation frameworks, QA tools, and supporting systems to improve product quality and testing efficiencyDesign test strategies and test plans to ensure features and products are released with a consistently high quality barEnsure comprehensive test coverage across key areas such as performance testing, compatibility testing, regression testing, functional testing, and other critical quality dimensionsWork with productivity and development tools such as Jira, Git, and TeamCityPerform risk assessments to identify critical code paths and develop corresponding automated test casesImplement test automation using multiple programming languagesIdentify defects, document them clearly, and drive them through resolution and verificationSummary Of RequirementsExperience and/or knowledge of Quality Assurance, test methodologies, and testing strategiesStrong knowledge of debugging fundamentals, debugging workflows, and debuggers (LLDB, GDB, DAP)Strong programming skills, primarily in C/C++ and C# with additional experience in Python and PowerShellProficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio IDEExperience testing debuggers and/or IDE extensionsExperience with source control tools such as Git or PerforceExperience working with system APIs, command‑line tooling, or platform‑level interfacesExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; TeamCity is a plusExperience working and testing in cross-platform environmentsAbility to develop test designs that can respond to quickly shifting requirementsAbility to review and provide feedback to peer codeStrong communication skills for regular collaboration with the development team to drive testabilityFamiliarity with operating system fundamentals such as processes, threading, memory management, and performance characteristicsKnowledge of Linux environments, system‑level concepts, and low‑level debugging is a plus3+ years experience in a similar roleBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalentApplicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.Pay Range$120,900—$217,650 USD
