On the call yesterday, the manager indicated the problem was he was not getting true AUTOMATION TESTERS with development.Must have development and strong AUTOMATION TESTERS with development.Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). Primarily, the SDET is a software tester with expertise on writing code. It's an evolution from an automation tester who creates a framework (selenium, QTP, etc.) and executes it to find defect. SDET, who is expected to be proficient in at least one programming language, extends it beyond the traditional scope by adding unit tests and aspects of white box testing.Job description:Minimum of 5 years work experience as a developer is desirable, preferably in the wireless industryMinimum 2 years professional experience using CA Lisa, Service Virtualization or equivalentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to decompose complex problems and perform root cause analysesUnderstanding of the Agile software development life cycleConfidence and ability to communicate and collaborate with other team membersHands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Sauce Labs, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor or other test frameworksMinimum 2 years professional experience with various testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.Minimum 1 years professional experience using issue-tracking software and agile project management systems.Has had agile development experience preferably in a CI/CT or DevOps environment.Specific work experience/skills required for each individual position to be updated by the hiring manager as these will vary depending upon whether the position develops user interfaces, middle tier and/or interfaces, database, business intelligence, or packaged applications like Siebel or Rightpoint.Additional InformationU.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply.
