HC&N Healthcare Solutions - Certified Dietary ManagerThe Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for the advanced nutrition of residents and is given a caseload of residents. Is responsible to manage the nutrition of short term, long term, hospice, and feeding tube residents.Responsibilities Include:Conduct initial assessments , food preference interviews for assigned residentsMonitor progress of short and long term residents and document accordinglyConduct meal rounds and document residents meal consumption and satisfactionParticipate in wound round and interdisciplinary meetingsWork closely with the interdisciplinary teamParticipates in meal and menu planningAssist in planning resident meals, guides and individuals and families to food selectionsInputs new resident diets food preferences and allergies and make changes to resident preferences as necessaryEnters menus in the systems (type) and make changes as necessaryInspects unit pantry, dayroom and dining room area daily to assure compliance with health, safety and sanitation requirements and regulationsAdheres to appropriate code of ethics (CC); andDemonstrates regular attendance and punctualityAnother task as required by the Registered dietitianSKILLS AND ABILITIESThe Diet Technician will have the ability to:Analyze situations accurately and adopt and effective course of actionOperate a computerWork independently with little directionOral and written communication skillsPrinciples and practices of supervision and trainingQUALIFICATIONSAssociate or bachelor& degree in nutritionCertified Dietary manager if applicable base on state regulations.An Equal Opportunity Employer
