Software Engineer - Unpaid Intern

We are searching for a talented Full Stack Developer Intern to become an integral member of our team. This unpaid internship offers you a chance to delve into both frontend and backend development, honing your skills in a hands-on, collaborative environment. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of our web applications—from concept to deployment—ensuring both robust backend functionality and polished frontend interfaces.Internship Duration:This is a 5-month Unpiad Internship20 hours per week (Flexible) for a duration of 5 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full stack web applications using technologies such as Next.js and Node.js.Frontend Development: Transform design mockups into responsive, interactive user interfaces with attention to detail and aesthetics.Backend Integration: Work with backend systems to design and develop scalable, high-performance API solutions.Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure smooth application operation across different browsers and devices.Performance Optimization: Enhance website speed by optimizing components and refining code efficiency.Code Management: Maintain high standards of code quality with clear documentation and adherence to best practices using version control tools like Git.Collaborative Development: Engage with both frontend and backend team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality.Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our systems innovative and efficient.QualificationsHands-on experience in full stack development, specifically with Node.js and Next.js.Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side JavaScript with Node.js.Proficient with frontend frameworks like Next.js.Knowledgeable in creating and integrating RESTful APIs.Experienced with version control systems, particularly Git.Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with build tools such as Webpack and package managers like npm.Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and welcome applicants of all backgrounds to apply for this position.
