Job OverviewMartin Luther Care Center is seeking a ursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care and Long term care)! This role provides hands on care and support services for our senior age patients at our spacious care center in Bloomington, MN.This patient support position includes;16 hours every two weeksDay ShiftIncludes every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday rotationsMartin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, MN near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU! Martin Luther Care Center was named Top Nursing Home and Transitional Care Center by US News and World Reports the past two years.Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lightsNursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitalsAM/PM/NOC cares; including peri care and catheter careMay turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistanceObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftOther duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely mannerRequired:Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date - OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezer's Nursing Assistant Course or Ebenezer's Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.Preferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationCommunicate efficiently, with compassion and understanding for residents and coworkersExperience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident AssistantWork experience in a customer service settingBenefit OverviewEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
