See additional details below. Registered Nurse Highlights The pay for this position is $48.69 per hour . Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM On-call requirement: 7 days per month Onsite position This position is a contract role Mileage reimbursement: $0.43/mile Coverage area: Butler, Lowndes, Crenshaw, and Covington counties Productivity requirement: 25–30 points Responsibilities Assess patient health status and implement individualized care plans in a home health setting Provide health maintenance, disease prevention, and case management services Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for chronic, acute, and well patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and services Monitor and manage medication orders, administration, storage, and documentation per physician directives Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and ensure timely follow-up Complete required nursing documentation (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual) Supervise and direct Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and other staff as needed Ensure infection control standards are maintained for equipment and supplies Coordinate patient appointments and follow through on care recommendations Maintain communication with inpatient teams and discharge coordinators during hospitalizations Provide training and ongoing education to staff on health, safety, and patient-specific care needs Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama Home Health experience preferred HCHB experience preferred but not required Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively Willingness to travel within assigned counties Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
