In this role, you will be trained to operate, feed, and troubleshoot laser cutting equipment. You will ensure production efficiency, high-quality output, and a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities:Laser Operation: Load, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines, adjusting speed and focus as needed for materials like steel and aluminum.Setup & Maintenance: Assist in tooling changes, clean lenses, and perform routine maintenance on machines.Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and blueprints to ensure specifications are met.Production Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines (PPE, lockout/tagout) and maintain a clean, organized work area.Documentation: Log production counts, downtime, and material usage.QualificationsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery.Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings (or willingness to learn).Basic math skills for measurements and ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Preferred Skills:Previous experience in manufacturing or machine with metal fabrication tools.
