Description Are you a dynamic sales leader with a passion for building high‑performing teams and driving disciplined growth? Helm is seeking a seasoned and highly networked Director of Sales, Promotional Products, to lead and scale our national Drop‑Ship/Spot Buy sales organization while elevating our existing sales team. Travel Requirements Not required to be based in Detroit but must be willing to travel to Detroit‑area and Baltimore sales offices, with additional travel as needed. Responsibilities Full commercial responsibility for the Promotional Products business, owning revenue performance and growth targets. Lead, coach, and develop a team of field‑based sales professionals, build and expand a national sales team, and establish clear territories, sales cadences, and accountability standards. Support key opportunities, ensure CRM and forecasting discipline, and identify pathways for Drop‑Ship/Spot Buy relationships. Strengthen sales culture by setting clear expectations, driving professionalism, and creating a high‑accountability environment grounded in metrics and results. Cross‑functional partnership with Client Services, Operations, and Finance to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction. Requirements Direct experience in the promotional products industry, including Drop‑Ship selling. Proven track record leading and scaling field sales teams across multiple regions. Network of customers, steady confident leadership, strong emotional intelligence, and ability to coach, upgrade, and hold teams accountable to high standards. Ability to build and expand a national sales team.
