Electromechanical Assembler

We are currently looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is based at our Phoenix, AZ 85034 facility for a 12-month contract period. The position offers a pay rate of $20/hr and follows a 5/40 schedule during the 2nd shift, which runs from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Role Overview We are hiring an entry-level Electromechanical Assembler to assist with manufacturing tasks at our Phoenix location. You will be responsible for a range of fabrication, testing, inspection, and assembly duties involving aerospace components. This position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work, have a knack for mechanics, are comfortable utilizing hand tools with small parts, and are looking to build a professional foundation in the aerospace manufacturing sector. Primary Duties Execute the assembly of mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies by strictly adhering to technical drawings and specifications. Utilize a variety of production equipment, including power tools, hand tools, gauges, and fixtures. Install, fit, fasten, and adjust various hardware and components. Carry out fundamental electrical and electromechanical assembly processes. Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and written assembly guidelines. Conduct visual checks and preliminary testing to help ensure all finished products meet our high-quality standards. Detect and document any production issues, such as faulty components or workmanship errors, to help maintain product integrity. Accurately finalize all necessary production and manufacturing records. Keep your designated workspace tidy and well-organized. Comply with all quality, safety, health, and environmental protocols to support a secure workplace. Collaborate effectively with engineers, quality staff, and fellow assemblers to reach production goals. Strive to meet all safety, quality, and production targets to contribute to team success. Required Qualifications Possession of a GED or high school diploma. We welcome applications from those just starting their careers. Demonstrated mechanical ability and experience using hand tools. Capacity to interpret and implement written assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and precise hand-eye coordination. Ability to sustain quality while performing repetitive assembly work. Comfortable operating within a production and manufacturing setting. Proven ability to contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment. Physical capability to stand for long durations and handle manufacturing duties. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
