Part-time Security Officer (Unarmed)
Healthcare Security OfficerSupports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $17.75 an hour. Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property, and providing supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a completed high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person, valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable, previous work experience with the public in a service setting, and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced and stressful or quiet and slow-paced work environment.
