This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Technician I, Production Technical Operations (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for handling technical tasks in production operations, including setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.Specifics Include:Handle specific technical tasks within production technical operations to support efficiencySet up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipmentEnsure products are manufactured according to specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standardsMove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goodsMonitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty productsMaintain accurate daily production records for performance analysisReview work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives and drive operational excellenceAdhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentationEnsure rigorous quality control and complete all required trainingMeet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational complianceCommit to continuous improvement and regulatory complianceWhat You'll Bring To Alcon:High School Diploma or equivalentThe ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in EnglishWork Hours: 2nd Shift 9 Hours (3:00 PM-12:30am)Location: OnsiteRelocation assistance/Sponsorship available: NoHow You Can Thrive At Alcon:Work together with colleagues to share standard methodologies and discoveries as work progresses.See your career like never before with focused growth and development opportunities.Join Alcon's mission to provide outstanding, innovative products and solutions to improve sight, improve lives, and grow your career!Alcon provides a robust benefits package including health, life, retirement, flexible time off for exempt associates, PTO for hourly associates, and much more!The salary range posted represents the anticipated hiring range for this role.
