If you would like to help us achieve our mission, please apply for the following opportunity.DescriptionProgram Supervisor - Housing & Occupancy ServicesFull-Time | Residential ServicesLutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Program Supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for housing operations supporting four residential buildings serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This position supervises and supports Occupancy Specialist staff, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, agency standards, and high-quality service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Occupancy SpecialistsSupport daily housing and occupancy operations across multiple residential sitesEnsure compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, licensing, contract, and agency requirementsOversee accurate completion and maintenance of tenant files, certifications, leases, and waiting listsPartner with program leadership to address tenant, building, and stakeholder concernsMonitor program performance, productivity expectations, and quality standardsSupport budgeting activities and monitor housing-related expendituresCoordinate and support preparation for inspections (HUD, state, municipal, and funder)Serve as an agency representative to internal and external partnersParticipate in hiring, training, and ongoing development of housing staffMay provide limited direct operational support as neededQualificationsAssociate's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field required(Bachelor's degree preferred)Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a similar population or in a related social services or housing settingSupervisory experience strongly preferredKnowledge of housing compliance, documentation, and service coordination principlesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet agency driving requirementsWork Environment & RequirementsWork is performed in both office and residential settingsRegular travel between multiple sites is requiredAbility to support staff in environments serving individuals with developmental disabilitiesPERKS:Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)By being employed with LSS, which is a non-profit agency, you can be eligible for loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.Loans are eligible to be forgiven after 10 years of on-time and consistent payments through the income-based re-payment plan.Assistance navigating the PSLF through SummerMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceFlex Spending for Dependent & Health CareMileage reimbursementPaid Time Off10 Paid HolidaysAbility to Contribute to 403BLSS makes annual raises a priority for employeesCalm Wellness App - Premium AccessStudent loan navigation program with Summer, PBCEarly Earned Wage Access with UKG WalletEmployee Assistance ProgramService Awards and RecognitionWhy Join LSS?At LSS, we are committed to creating stable housing and supportive services that promote dignity, independence, and community belonging.
